David (Mitch) Mitchell is a 29-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Fire Department-Retired who participated in the search and rescues for the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building Bombing and also the May 3, 1999, tornado. His First Responder experience has equipped him to handle many situations, including medical events or any emergency that could arise.
Mitch has been married to Toni for 28 years and they have two adult sons and two grandchildren. Mitch is also a metastatic prostate cancer survivor!
Mitch guides out of Buncombe Creek Marina on the Oklahoma side of the lake. His boat is a 2017 24’ Blazer Bay that seats six people comfortably with a quiet and environmentally friendly four stroke 300 Yamaha outboard. His boat is kept clean and all of his fishing equipment is in great working condition. He has been a Texoma Guide since 2005 and has fished on the lake since he was 12 years old. Mitch is a family friendly guide who will treat customers from all walks of life with the same level of respect – regardless of race, religion, or sexuality. Children are always welcome and will be treated with patience in his boat. He meets all liability insurance requirements and he has adult and child life jackets on board.
